In life, we often seek purpose, wondering what truly brings fulfillment. The answers have been with us since ancient times Seva (selfless service) and Sankalp (sacred resolve). These are not just spiritual practices but powerful energies that shape our lives, bringing us closer to our true selves and the divine.
At Maa Mahakali Ashram, every Anushthan is performed with strict adherence to Sanatan Dharma traditions, following the divine guidance of Param Acharya Shri Rajib Goswami Ji’s teachings and the sacred principles of Tantric and Vedic rituals. Our practices are rooted in pure devotion and spiritual discipline and we do not follow any form of animal sacrifice (Bali) or violence. Each Anushthan is conducted with authenticity, ensuring a deep spiritual impact on those seeking divine blessings for health, prosperity, ancestral peace and spiritual awakening.

"Yā Devi sarva-bhūteṣu sevā-rūpeṇa saṁsthitā…"
"The Divine Mother resides in all beings in the form of selfless service."
Guruji, Acharya Rajib Goswami Ji, often said something profound:
"Seva is not just about giving—it’s a recognition that you have the power to give. The ability to offer something is a blessing in itself."
Think about it—when you give kindness, love, or support, you realize how much you actually hold within yourself. The more you give, the more you grow. It’s a cycle of abundance.
Guruji’s Teachings on Seva:
In the Kali Tantra (Chapter 5, Verse 45), it is written:
"Sevā bhaktih sadā kāryā, nātra kāryā vicāraṇā, Sevāyāṁ paramā śaktiḥ, sevāyāṁ paramaṁ tapaḥ."
"Selfless service is the highest form of devotion; in Seva lies the supreme power and the greatest penance."
So, when we serve, we don’t just help others—we awaken something within ourselves.
Sankalp is that unshakable promise we make—to ourselves, to the Divine, or to the universe. It is the driving force behind every great transformation.
A true Sankalp is not just a wish— It is a promise that holds divine energy.. Once taken, it must be fulfilled, for it carries the power to shape destiny."
We’ve all experienced this. When we set our mind on something with absolute determination, the universe starts aligning things in our favor. But Sankalp works in both directions:
Positive Sankalp – A sacred resolve taken with devotion brings blessings and success.
Negative Sankalp – A promise made in anger or ego leads to struggle and suffering.
"Aham Sankalpa-rūpiṇī, Jagat Yātrāmayī Shaktiḥ."
I am the essence of all Sankalp, the power that moves the universe.
This means that every Sankalp taken with devotion is infused with divine energy and becomes reality.
Sankalp is destiny – It holds the power to shape one’s future.
Sankalp is faith in action – It transforms thoughts into divine manifestations.
Sankalp is surrender – When taken with pure devotion, the Divine Mother herself clears the path.
"Durgē smr̥tā harasi bhītim aśeṣa-jantoh,
Swasthaiḥ smr̥tā matimatīva śubhāṁ dadāsi."
O Durga! When remembered with faith, You remove all fear and bless Your devotees with wisdom and auspiciousness.
This verse teaches that when we take a Sankalp with full devotion, Maa Shakti herself grants the strength to fulfill it. So, when you take a Sankalp, believe in it with your whole heart.
Offering food and essentials – As done in the our Annapoorna Bhandara, serving meals with devotion.
Offering your time –Assisting in spiritual gatherings, rituals, or guiding someone in need.
Being kind and compassionate – A smile, a kind word, or a small act is Seva.
At Maa Mahakali Ashram, we follow Guruji’s wisdom, believing that Seva and Sankalp are the two wings of the soul’s journey towards divine awakening.
Together, let us walk this path with faith, devotion and determination.
